Synopsis
In one of many short plays for young adults from Pioneer Drama Service, in 1917 a pilgrimage of 100 noblewomen set out for the Holy Land. While they were gone, the Russian Revolution broke out and they could not return. Some went elsewhere to start new lives, but others elected to remain in Jerusalem, believing that matters at home would soon change for the better.. Not Far from the Gioconda Tree
