Synopsis
Ishmael, a young man in search of adventure, first mate, Stubb, and Queequeg, the mystical Polynesian harpooner ("he's the son of a cannibal king, they say."), set off aboard the Pequod, a whaling ship piloted by the brooding captain Ahab.
